Q: Is SkinnyDip made with organic ingredients?
A: At SkinnyDip, we are passionate supporters of local and British ingredients. If an ingredients can be sourced locally (beeswax, lavender essential oil), then we use that organic or not. Where ingredients are not locally available, we opt for organic, ecologically-farmed or wild harvested ingredients. Ecologically-farmed means grown without chemicals and is often indicative of organic farms making the transition to organic status.

Q: Is SkinnyDip tested on animals?

A: Certainly not, and neither are any of our ingredients.

Q: Are SkinnyDip products suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

A: All of our products are suitable for vegetarians. Beeswax and honey are used in some of our products and this means that certain products may not technically be suitable for vegans, although I’ve met many a vegan who is happy using beeswax (it’s a personal thing, I guess)

Products containing beeswax are Butter Fingers protective hand cream, Viva la Diva hand and nail cream, Miracle Balm, Battle Wound Balm and our lip balms.

Q: Does SkinnyDip contain parabens?

A: No. SkinnyDip creams contain an artificial preservative called phenoxyethanol. Whilst artificial, this preservative is suitable for sensitive skin and gives our creams a life span of 18 months. The preservative is less than 1% of the cream.

Q: Do you post SkinnyDip overseas?

A: Yes. For delivery to Europe and the Channel Islands a flat P&P fee of £3.95 applies. If you would like to post SkinnyDip outside these regions, please email Emma@Skinny-dip.co.uk and we will let you know postage costs.
